VENT: 2009 Washington Cascades
This trip was a loop that took us around Washington State. Starting in the Olympic Peninsula, we made our way up into the North Cascades. From there, over the mountains into Eastern Washington. We then traveled south and back to Seattle.
VENT: 2010 Arizona Chiricahua
This trip featured the best birding in SE Arizona. Our starting point was in Tucson. We made our way through the deserts, canyons and forests finding an incredible amount of birds, in some incredible heat.
VENT: 2011 Tejano Texas
This trip was my favorite. We traveled all around this enormous state. Hitting Big Bend among other amazing locations. By far, the most memorable experience was the bat caves. Millions of bats spilling out while Peregrine Falcons and Red-tailed Hawks tried attempted to catch their last meals of the day.
VENT: 2012 Washington Cascades
Similar to my 2009 adventure this trip was an exploration of Washington. Luckily, it varied in many ways. We spent more time around Mt. Rainier and the southern area of Washington. We still managed to go to the Olympic Peninsula which is one of the most beautiful places in Washington. Even managed to see many birds we missed on my first trip!
